If a rear projection set with Convergence in the menu and blue will not move in some direction (left/right or up/down) you have a bad chip/s in the circuit.
A few inches off is a lot----has set recently been moved?

Can you post a picture of the set. This might be a convergence problem. seeing the set will confirm this.

convergent systems.. I callled Hitachi....
it cost $600 to relpace the part... all 3 colors red yellow blue,.... tech took the part out and will replace it in about 3 or 4 days.
I was told by technician that it was a very very good tV in fact he said he would buy it from me for $300 and take it away.. I am considering that ... but a new one with Picture in picuture will be 2000 or more
