Interval alarm doesn't work

Since the batter changed the alarm doesn't sound when using the interval timer.

  • Anonymous Apr 08, 2012

thanks but I read through similar problems and found one similar for a different watch. I tried the suggestion to take the back off (which happened to have been rotationally upside down) and turned 180 degrees, put it back on and voila! The sounds are working.

Just change the battery on my Nike Anvil WC0020 watch and the alarm won't sound for the timer as well as the two alarm settings.

If you changed battery yourself, you've lost the tiny spring without noticing it. Carefully check around the place where you changed the battery. The spring itself is very, very tiny, so, be as concentrated as much as you can. That spring (coilspring named by watchmakers) transmits the signal from watch movement to the watch back cover where the sound membrane is located. In case if you find it, open the watch and insert that spring with the bent out end first in to the desired hole in watch movement (should be named COIL SPRING). After that re-assemble watch and the sound should work.

This is a problem concerning Forerunner 50 Garmin. No more sound alarms works, since I've changed the battery a few weeks ago : - woken up alarm ; - interval alarms (INTTMR) T1 and T2 - interval alarms...

1) You have lost the connector spring wich transmits the sound signal to the tweeter positioned inside back cover. In this case you have to look for watchmakers help.
2) You may misplaced the gasket in watch and the spring is not touching the caseback through the protrusion. In this case open the caseback, realign the gasket properly and reassemble the watch. Make sur thet the spring is touching the caseback inside watch.
Do not forget to rate, please.
