Unfortunately, the main page refers to the "Newest 2011 Maps" so I have a feeling they have not been updated yet this year.

I got news for you poor Delphi Nav200 or 300 suckers , I mean customers. There is in fact a map update right now, but guess what. The assholes want $99.00 for it. Go buy a Tom Tom. All updates are free. All the time thru their web site.

If you want to BUY the update from the Delphi Crooks it's up t6o you. I will be a good duby and give you the website. Ready, here it is are you sure???? OK !!!!! It's your money.

You can contact Ferro Works and they will send you a new CD with maps on it. They were not very clear on how updated the Version is. I called them and had a commitment of a new CD to be sent to me within fifteen minutes of dialing.

Need to know how i update the maps card for it
The latest version of Garmin Express provides the ability to install a map update directly to an SD card.
The SD card installation option will only appear when updating a compatible device that does not have sufficient internal memory for the largest allowable map region. When using the SD card installation option, critical files are loaded to the SD card so it must remain in the device after the update to ensure full functionality. For the largest size SD card a device can use, refer to: What is the largest size Secure Digital (SD) card that an automotive device can accept?
The SD card support during the map update will only function with up-to-date software. It may be necessary to update the device's software with Garmin Express prior to updating the maps. These devices do not support the SD card option:

  • nuvi 300 series
  • nuvi 500 series
  • nuvi 600 series
  • nuvi 800 series
  • nuvi 805 series
  • nuvi 5000

How do i download a maps update on my nuvi 300
Garmin offers two kinds of updates on its website: software updates are free. Map updates are not. You'll need a USB cable to connect the Garmin to your computer. Then go to http://www.garmin.com
On the web site, first register your product. Then look for "Support" and follow their instructions for updating your software. After you've done that, look for "Maps" on the menu at the top of the screen. You can either purchase updates one at a time, or buy a lifetime (of your device) subscription. By the way, maps are huge files, so plan on it taking several hours to update your maps even with a fast internet connection

Loading New Map
I don't know if this is much of a solution, but from what I understand from my extensive research on this product (I bought one online and have been trying to get updated maps), Magellan no longer supports this unit. I looked on their website to confirm, and on the "Scheduled Map Updates" list, the Magellan 300 has no further updates available. Apparently, this has been the case for the last few years.

Psg map update
Pioneer SUCKS!! After buying a GPS and being told upfront by Pioneer that a upgrade will be aval. in 90 days for a modest cost, it takes them almost 9 months to come up with it. Then they have the nerve to ask $150 for the upgrade after people have paid $300 to $500 for their GPS. I will never buy a Pioneer product again. I switched to a TOM TOM and it works better, no upgrade problems and over all it cost me less than that POS Pioneer.

go to www.tomtom.com

download 'tomtom home' to your PC.

this program will allow you to update the OS & let you buy new maps camera warnings etc.

You can buy them in your local stores too.
