SOURCE: Ryobi 3000 psi pressure washer detergent injector

Most detergent injectors work by the venturi system. That is that the detergent is drawn into the stream by the forward flow of the water thru a very narrow port after the water passes thru the pump. This system works best when the pressure at the tip of the wand is low. Trying using a very large tip to draw in and apply the detergent, then remove injector and rinse with high pressure. Not good for the pump but to apply soap reliably under high pressure the soap needs to be injected through the intake of the pump. enjoy

SOURCE: john deere 3800psi pressure washer will not siphon

The only way the washer will draw soap into the line is with either the black tip installed or with no tip in wand at all. There is a ball and spring inside of the pipe that the siphon hose hooks to so when you use the washer with alot or even a little pressure the ball is forced up and blockes off the soap inlet port.So if you use it with no tip in the inlet port is open cause the ball isnt being forced up by back pressure.I hope this makes sense.

SOURCE: I recently purchased a northstar 4000 psi pressure

The injector might be worn out or have something inside of the valve causing it not to ****. If you are using a new high pressure hose or a longer hose this may also have an effect over the injector not working.

Husky HU 80522 pressure washer - some pressure to the spray gun. water coming from the pump goes straight to the sifon hose used for detergent. Can this line be clamped of if not used?

This unit has a Faip pump on the unit, no water should come out the chemical injector. The chemical injector can be closed off with no problem by installing a plug where the chemical injector hose bard is currently located.
You can also replace the chemical injector, here is a link to view the part.

Detergent tank will not draw.

Detergent tanks will only draw at low pressure. Switching to low-pressure is done is several different ways with different makes/models. Some pressure nozzles are push/pull, some are twist and some just have a quick coupling and you have to keep up with a low pressure tip (usually colored black).

If it will not draw at low presser, it is either stopped up with debres, or the check ball inside the injector is stuck. The injector is the little device that is just before the outlet where the pressure hose hooks up. These always have a small metal ball, held in place with a tiny spring. This ball is there to prevent pressurized water from shooting back into the detergent tank. The ball and seat that it presses against can get stuck together with old detergent residues, calcified deposits from the water or even rust.

Use a small crescent wrench to take it apart -- or if you prefer, find the right size box end/open end (metric) wrench. Be very cautious as it comes apart because that little spring can leap out and they are hard to find.
I hope this is helpful to you. If it is, please take a sec to rate me. Thanks!

Why want my pressure washer suction the solution while pressure washing the house?

The first problem might be that you are trying to use the wrong nozzle, see this link to read more about what nozzle to use for detergents

If you still have an issue the problem is going to be in the chemical valve on the pump, there are two different styles they have on this type of machine, look at the links below on directions on how to repair your chemical valve.

Genrac power washer chemical injector not working

How long is your high pressure hose and what diameter as it maybe to long and won,t **** chemical due to back pressure. To test this remove the high pressure hose and run the machine and check too see if any chemical is coming up the pipe. If it does then its a problem with your hose or the adjuster is not going to low enough pressure.

I have a campbell hausfeld pressure washer without a manual. The model is PW1755V3LE. I want to know exactly where the port is for using chlorine or detergent. I'm not sure I see one. Can you help me?

You won't see one. You can not pump chlorine or detergent through the pump. What you can do is get an injector kit which will siphon solution into the discharge from the pump. The problem is that it will be at low pressure. When you are applying a solution, it is done at low pressure to do a wet down. You allow that to work for a few minutes then you pressure wash after the solution has done its job. If you try to apply the solution at high pressure you will only waste your product as it will have no benefit being in contact with the surface but for a few hundredths of a second. There are pumps that will apply chemicals under pressure such as a golf course might use to spray fertilizer on the greens. These type pumps are pressure sprayers and you mix your chemicals in a tank and the pump pulls the solution from the tank, These pumps are made of chemical resistant materials and are fairly expensive. They however are not pressure washer type pumps.
