Use a 2 part epoxy. It's more work but it will work and will last forever. If you get it in a dual syringe dispenser it's not a whole lot of work to use as you just squeeze a small amount on a sheet of paper, mix it with a popsicle stick or something else disposable, then apply and wait for it to cure.
