The rocker switch on our Carlton HES40 is broken, need replacemen

Have been trying to get a replacement rocker switch for our Freestanding Electric Stove. It seems the CFM Harris Systems Inc. is going out of business and it was a dead end trying to go through them.

Maybe we can read what the amps or voltage says on the side of the rocker switch?

I have a freestanding electric stove made by CFM Harris Systems Inc. I hear that they are going out of business. Problem - when I turn the knob on for heat I get noise. Also, there is an odor like something burning. Can anyone advise what the problem might be?

Check the wiring to the element, be careful shock hazard. On my electric range the wires were broken where the element plugs in socket. Socket kits are about $9.00 us If you have a volt meter unplug the element and turn the control on if you have voltage then replace the element. Thanks Tom

Rocker switch for 600 watts broken----

First of all complaining to FixYa isn't going to accomplish anything. I doubt that the supplier of your device even knows about FixYa. Now on to your problem --- can you get me any numbers off the rocker switch? I'll do the research and get back to you. Use my original email address which can be found in my profile.
