Basicly i just need for someone to tell me how can i take the bass off of the peakers so that it can only goto the subs because when loud its gets really ****** the subs are hitting perfectly but the speakers you can't even hear the voices
If you turn the bass setting in your radio down it will take the bass out, but may take some of the bass out of the subs as well, if this occurs and you still are not satified, you either have to get a car receiver with a non fading subwoofer preout, or you could get bass blockers for all the speakers you dont want the bass in
SOURCE: Woofer making horrible noise! HELP!
Think as an expert... Probably from my experience repairing woofers etc... the cone (1) or the spider (2) isn't well glued onto the woofer skeleton(or both???) The woofer cone must be absolutely centered or else you will get those clicks in low frequencies(you also get them in higher frequencies but you can't hear them!) I must say that it is very difficult to repair a woofer by your own. I suggest to return it back where you bought it and take another one (i suppose that you have a guarantee ha?).
SOURCE: sub doesnt sound loud
try to change subs with your friend to find out if the problem is on amplifier or on sub wofer
SOURCE: Subwoofers are working but aren't that loud.. help me!
not a bad set-up at all. i can help you i do need some more info though. what head unit do you have? what type of box is it just the normal rectangle box with or without divide sealed or is it ported? measure the size of the box and give me the dimensions please? how did you run the cables and how did you hook up between the deck and the amp? does the amp have built in crossover this could be problem just a little tuning? if it does make sure you selelct lpf mode and turn the hz knob all the way down ( counterclockwise) check the gain control should be another knob turn it clockwise all the way. you might need a little flat screwdriver to reach all these. is this amp bridgeable and if so are you running bridge mode ( 1 channel) if not look where you hook up the speaker and look and both channels and you will see a pos connect on 1 channel and neg connect on the other, put both neg wires on neg terminal and put both pos wires on pos terminal. in this set-up you will have full raw power. let me know about this and i will help you the most i can. good luck and happy booming.
SOURCE: car sound system. only sub is giving off sound. other 4 speakers dont work at all
Could be bad outputs from the back of your head unit or also could be bad rca cables. Make sure the amp is on and powered.
SOURCE: Bass in Car Gone, i don't know why!!!
Does the amplifier power up? If so, then check the voltage at the outputs...sounds like the outputs fried. Also, check the RCA cable to make sure it is getting a signal to the amplifier.
