D7000 will not deface your photographs by scrawling a string of numbers across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with each image in the file's EXIF metadata.
If you want to print this information, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your photos. Depending on the program and printer, you may print this information on the image, in the margins, or on the back. For example, if you're creating a DPOF on the D7000 itself, the instructions are in the "Creating a DPOF Print Order: Print Set" section of the camera manual (page 189 in my copy).

SOURCE: How do I imprint the

Hello.

The date/time stamp can only be applied to a print using the camera in pict bridge mode.

When you plug in your camera directly to your printer, a new menu will appear on your camera and you will see the time/date option appear. At that point you can choose to include it when you print your picture.

Nikon Coolpix L100 how to put date on

The date imprint feature is not available in all shooting modes. These include the Museum or Panorma mode. To turn on the feature if it is off, press the Menu button and then choose the Setup Menu. (The icon is a stylized wrench.) Go to the menu item Date Imprint and set this to Date or Date and Time. Note: the date (and time) will be easier to read if the Image Mode is set to PC screen (1024). Make sure that the date and time is correct in those menu areas.

This information is in the manual for the CoolPix L100 on page 101 (page 113 of the PDF). Nikon has the manual available on the product page: https://www.nikonusa.com/en/nikon-products/product-archive/compact-digital-cameras/coolpix-l100.html . The current link to the manual is https://cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/manuals/coolpix/L100EN.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Hi, It wouldn't autofocus on the D5000 as the body doesn't have an auto focus motor in the body and since that lens is AF, not AF-S, it won't autofocus. It should autofocus on the D7000 though, how far away are you from the object you're trying to photograph?

With my nikon d7000 camera after turning off camera LCD panel is not turning off

Try pulling the battery out then replacing it and trying again. If that doesn't work reset the factory settings by going to menu, setup menu, reset user settings.

Hello,

See page 144 of the users manual.

Tap- (MENU) -> Wrench(Setup Menu) -> Date Imprint.

There should be three options from there. Off, Date, & Date and Time. You want to select the "Off".

Good luck.

I one of the nikon users(D5000), i want to change to D7000, but i've heard from the camera dealer said, there's a several complaints about Nikon D7000(release shutter) from the other users. Is the problem...

I own a D70, D80 and recently purchased a D7000. I have under 1K on the shutter, and have had no issues. The D7000 had some issues with some stuck green and red pixels, but this was solved shortly afterwards (was the cause for the D7000 being back ordered until recently).

The kind of widespread acceptance this camera received can indicate why there are some people having issues. This can be due to everything from the user's inability to use the camera correctly all the way to an actual hardware problem. Needless to say, the camera comes with a 1 year warranty - and if there is a problem surely Nikon is fixing it for free under the terms of the warranty. I have not had any problems with my D7000.

If you're like me - purchase an extended warranty from SquareTrade (there are other similar providers, too). I opted for 3 years of coverage and coverage from accidental damage from handling (falling, submersion, etc.) for about $210.

I hope this helps and good luck. Please rate my reply. Thank you.

I have a Nikon Coolpix s560. I want to shut off the date/time stamp imprint that it makes. I take pictures of my art with it and cannot have time stamps in the picture.

Welcome to FixYa,

You can disabled the Date Imprint. In this option you can print your pictures without the date and time printed on it.

All you have to do is set the Date Imprint on its default setting or setting it on OFF
Just go to Set up Menu and look for the Date Imprint and set it to OFF.

There are other option where the Date Imprint will be disabled.

- When the Continous Mode is set to Continous or BBS
- When the Scene mode is set to Sports, Museum, or Panorama assist.
- When movies are being recorded.

Hope this information will help you and can answered your question.

Thank you for using FixYa.
