Suppressing printing of date/time

Each time I changed the batteries, the date/time stamp turned itself back on. I have solved this issue, but now have 250 photos of an international trip with the date/time on them. I don't want the date time stamp on my photos. Can I suppress the date/time without losing the photos? Am using an Olympus Camedia C-700 Ultra Zoom with Iphoto on Mac 10.3.9 Any advice out there?

No, the date/time stamp is now part of the image. The only way to get rid of it is to Photoshop it, but 250 photos... Let me look at my manual, as mine never prints the date/time.

Turn off Timestamp

Are you sure the time stamp is visible in the pictures, when you put them on a computer or when you print them?
I only see the time stamp visible in the play back menu.
To change that, you only have to press the display button, when viewing the pictures you took. Don't be afraid to lose the date and time, because it is in every picture, hidden for sight, but always there if you want to see it.
If this is not what you mean, please let me know, I will search more.

How to turn off time/date stamp on finepix s1850

Seeing the Date When Previewing images
  • The camera records the date and time of each photo in the metadata attached to each picture. You have the option to see the date and time when when the camera is in "Playback" mode, which allows you to preview your images on the screen. When looking at your pictures, use the "Disp/Back" button to include text with your pictures. The date and time will appear along the bottom of the image.

Printing the Date on Pictures
  • Users can include the time and date on their prints from the "Mode" menu by choosing "Print Order" with the "With Date" option.

I AM TRYING TO SET THE DATE & TIME TO APPEAR ON MY PHOTOS ON MY CANON REBEL T2I

theres no date a time stamp on the photo itself with DSLRs but the meta data is kept on file in the photo so it has recorderd the time and date. depending on what photo printing software your using you can bring up the time and date back on the photo. I have canon photo printer and using the bundled software easy photo print, it allows me to print time and date of the photo. or if you use adobe lightroom you can get the time and date back on the photo. the time and date stamp is more of a compact camera rather than DSLR.

Purchased a Kodak easyshare M320 can not figure out how to set

You have two options for getting the date printed on your pictures. One is to set the appropriate option in whatever software you're using to print. The other is to have the camera put it there in the image itself. This means that if the date happens to cover something important, you won't be able to get it back.

To set the camera to put the date stamp on every picture, press Menu, use left/right to highlight Setup, then use up/down to access "Date Stamp".

Date & Time Stamp issue

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Date on print

Are you using the PictBridge compliant printer for the prints? If so click here to read page 75 for the setting on the printer. Go to the bottom of the PDF file, use the arrow to go to page 75. Don't follow the paging on the manual book itself, because this is a soft copy of PDF.

If you get prints from photo finishing center, then you probably have to order prints with date and/or time stamp added on.

As far as I know, W50 has no time stamp setting. Every image file carries its own date and time for printers to add the time stamp if printer has that function.

Hope this can help.

Print the date on the image/photo

It is not possible to embed the date/time stamp as part of the image itself with the XT. The date/time information is stored as part of the exif information stored in the image at the time of shooting.

However, you do have a couple options for printing images with the date/time stamped onto the image:

If you use the direct print capabilities of the camera when connected to a compatible printer (PictBridge, CP, or DirectPrint are all supported), you are able to enable an option that will print the image with the date/stamp printed on the image. There are also software packages that you can use that will do the same when printing from the computer.

And finally, it is possible, with some photo finishers, to request that they imprint the shooting date/time on the image. This will vary from photo finisher to photo finisher, and the will be some who can't, or won't, do this.

Canon SD 1000 time and date stamp on downloaded photo

Set the resolution to PostageCard (1600x1200).
Many of these cameras have only ONE RESOLUTION setting which allows you to have a date/ date and time stamp on the file, which will print on the viewed or printed photo.

How to do it:
Turn the camera on M mode.
Use the func. set.
go down the menu to the resolution settings. (on the bottom of menu).
Pick only the postagecard (1600x1200) setting.

I also was like you, and had an awful time with a camera I was fixing. I then looked it up on the Net and found an online user manual for the Canon SD 500, which should be basically the same.
