Engine HP, deck width, tire size, hydro drive... all same/similar. Likely insignificant design changes (non interchangeable parts).
These are intended for small suburban <2 ac.

It should work for DSLR as long as the release plate will fit your DSLR camera. Most screws for the quick release plates 1/4 x 20 screw. Larger cameras and those with larger lenses need a bigger screws...making some plates non interchangeable.

The 5r55w is non interchangeable- the "w" stands for wide range the 5r55n is non synchro and the "s" series is not wide range

Northstar suggests a Non-Detergent SAE 30W for that peticular CAT pump.

my unit has same problem --navico will fix or replace unit for $699 us

most parts from 90-95 will interchange. also, alot of parts from the pickups during those years are interchangeable with the 4runner.

There are a few scenarios that can cause this.

1) The extension cord that you are using is too long / too light of a guage. Try a heavier extension cord, or plug directly into the generator.

2) The alternator has lost its "residual magnetism" and may need to be reflashed. Consult Northstar for instructions and details.

3) The voltage regulator (actually a simple capacitor) may be "weak"

4) The diode for field winding may be bad.
