Why doesn't read any sd, md cards

Since I was also facing the problem, where my SD card got corrupted and was not able to access. finally I came across the software to recover corrupted SD card which helped me to recover my lost photos and here is the download link

If your camera uses a SD memory card then -
SD and Micro SD memory cards has a smallslide switch on the edge of the card, which write protects data on the memorycard. Slide the switch from the READ position tothe WRITE position, which is furthest away from the contacts.

Try formatting the SD memory card using the camera's Menu setting.

It is possible that you have a "MicroSD card". Most card readers can not read micro sd cards because it is too small, so you will need an "adapter" to be the same size as a normal SD card and then you can use it on card readers. I am just assuming (because I can not see it) that the yellow thing you have is the adapter. Make sure the micro SD card is inserted into the adapter properly and make sure that your adapter is inserted properly into your card reader.

If it is still not working, tell me the brand and model of your computer or you card reader. Also indicate any markings you can read from your sd card and the little yellow thing.

Use a card reader. Since your computer has a USB port, you can get a card reader that reads SDHC cards. This is exactly how I do it on my computer.

Try to reformat your micro sd card using your phone, then plug it into your pc to copy files. Don't forget to properly eject your sd card not just unplugging it. If this doesn't work try reformatting it using your pc then properly eject it.

The label points out that if the switch is in the down position, the SD card is locked. Take a look at your SD card and make sure that the switch isn't in the locked position. If your SD card isn't labelled, I'd switch the position of the switch and try to copy the music again.
If that doesn't work, right click on the SD card in My Computer, and Click format. Do a quick format on the SD card and see if that helps.

It might be to do with the fact that your camera doesn't accept a SD HC (High Capacity) card. Older cameras can't read/write to that format...

You do not need to screw with an SD card, they are formated to take whatever data you send to them, but in your case check by reading the card to see what is on it BEFORE you put it in the GPS. It may have junk files on it, thus there is no room, unless of course you try to load to much data, THERE IS A LIMIT, suggest you read the GPS manual, and see what the limit of the size of the card is for that GPS, yes there is a limit!
