Maybe depends on poor phone connection from this sender, caused by bad line or a transmitt problems. In faxsettings All fax, change "error correction" to off and "V34" faxspeed to slow, this will help.

WHEN I SENDING A FAX IT SAS COMM ERROR 363

It's a communication error between the printer and the sender or the receiver.
Unplug the fax phone cord from the wall. Plug in a telephone into that outlet and see if you can make a phone call.
Plug your fax back in, and try it again.

Error comm 0001

Generally this error(Error 0001) is observed while receiving Fax. The Error Code arises when sender not using G3 Fax Machine. So it is a communication error.
I think it helps. Let me know.

I keep getting comm error 242 when people are faxing to me

The "sender's" fax machine is attempting to RECEIVE a fax. This happens because they don't have the document fully inserted into the scanner before dialing. (According to HP's error code listing for "comm error 242" - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=buu02549) This is not a problem of a bad connection. Bad line condition codes are 223, 224 and most of the codes starting with 23.

HP 1010 fax - only receives first pages of a fax

Do you have DSL, or any other type of digital phone line.

Usually this is caused by a "noisy" phone line; some sort of interference.

Laserjet 3330 is resulting in fax Comm Errors 327, 232, 442, 356, 421 Comm Error 327 is always with fax # 780.467.6516. i can not fax to this number and when i receive from it, it always prints a Fax...

232-A communication failure has occurred between the two machines.
327-*Reattempt the fax reception at a different time when telephone line conditions have improved. Call the telephone provider if line conditions fail to improve.
356-The remote user has pressed the Stop key, causing the session to be aborted.
442-An error occurred during transmission after one or more partial pages had been sent. The transmitting machine was unable to restart the control channel (handshaking) before sending more data. This error typically occurs when the receiving fax disconnects after receiving part of a page but can also occur if the receiving fax is using a fax format that is incompatible with the HP fax machine (usually during color faxing).
