The issue is with capacitors on the power supply board ,open your TV and look for caps with damage on the top,the caps are 110 volt change them to 120v and your issue will be gone.
I have done this with four of this kinda of TV and all are working like a charm

Try unplugging it for 30 seconds and see if it resets. If not, take the model # and get on the internet for the manual and go to trouble shooting page. It should answer your questions

i had the same problem, you'll have to call the samsung service center. You TV's part which looks after the voltage connectivity has failed. This majorly happens due to voltage fluctuations. The part will cost around Rs. 2800 and service charges will be applied by the company.
