Recently had a surround sound system installed. The installers hung the tv on the wall (previously it was on a stand). Now it usually won't turn on. The red power light blinks 10 times, pauses, blinks 10 times, etc. installation guys said this was not their doing. That they just happened to be here on the day the power supply went bad. What do the 10 blinks mean?
Before spend $$ on replacement boards, make sure anything attached to it is powered off. Unplug TV for 5mn to 15min. Plug back in and it should power on. If not leave unplugged overnight before spending on a replacement board. We have to do this 2-3 times per year when someone forgets to turn off auxiliary components (receiver, DVD, cable box, etc) first. It has always come back on.
Thats a sos error for numerous supply voltages missing. Send a email to me for assistance as I cant post the info here [email protected]

We had a Pioneer that did the same thing. We called a Pioneer Service Center. It appears there was a recall on the Power Supply. They fixed it in our home at not charge.

A red light blinking 10 times means that a video board has gone bad. Contact Panasonic to see if they will help you out.
