Wiring problem

Our JED8430, Jenn-Air downdraft has a black, red, green, and white wire, but out of the wall only white, black, and copper. What goes to what?

I have the same problem Post a new problem

I know someone who can solve this problem

I have Red, Black, Green and White from cooktop and White, Black and bare copper from breaker. What goes where?

same problem matching up the wires from the outlet to the wiring harness on the stovetop

those wires dont go to the down draft. those colors are to hook up the stove. do you have the instalation instructions?

You should double check the wiring at the circuit box, but if it's like mine then black and white are both hot, and copper is ground.
So, connect
Jenn-Air Wall
Black Black
Red White
White Copper
Green Copper
I've just finished wiring up mine like this and it works perfectly.
