HELP HELP !!!!!!! Electric fault i think !!!!!!!!!!

I have c180 elegance 98 reg. i wounder if you could help ?

it started with intermiten faults electric windows stopped working so took battery off put it back on solved problem untill yesterday.

took battery off put it back on. key fob stopped working boot wont open boot release button won't work tried to start car this mornning and nothing.

tried the jump lead trick that won't work either can anyone help.

what could be the problem? and how can i get in the boot?

tried key that don't work either not sure if boot lock been changed!

1....ensure the battery in the "Key Fob" is OK............Press either Lock or Unlock button for more than 1 second, the lamp on the fob will light if OK. Change battery if it does not illuminate! 2.....if battery on fob OK.......Re Syncronise the key fob to the car by:.... a brief press on either button twice and within 30 seconds turn Key to position 2 on the ignition lock

Hi , to remove the ESP fault code - start the car & turn your steering wheel from lock to lock. That is from one to the other end.

1996 c180 airbag light does not go off.

it will have to go on a fault diagnosis to find the the fault code and take it from there, there is rumours that if you disconnect the battery for 5 mins it will sort it, but it wont. hope i helped

trhe ticking noise is the relays, however the most likely cause of this fault is the drivers door wiring, very common Peuegot fault with opening and closing the door the wires within the black plastic sleave start to wear and then contact each other, do you electric windows work? central locking? had any issues with these at all? is there anything electrical that sometimes works and sometimes does not?

I have a mercedes C180 Elegance - N reg. I've just changed the batteries in my key fob, as I was unable to unlock the door, therefore opening it manually. After changing the batteries the car started....

Theres something on google about that i think you turn ignition on and hold 1 of the buttons not sure which this is suposed to reprogrambthe key to the car and visa versa but i would defobtry google as there are many uploads about this i have a m reg 180 its not that posh just a key no fob which isvthe way i like it unless its cold and my mouth gets stuck to the door lock defrosting it lol hope this gelps cheers ivan

You can try to clean the ground behind the instrument cluster to see if that helps but most likely the sending unit has gone bad in the gas tank.

C200 elegance s reg. wiper sticks or jerks half way across scrn

change motor and fit a new one not a scrapyard one ,check spring tension on arm and try a smaller wiper blade .Keep the receipt for the new motor so you can claim waranty

wat u can do is send ur car to the workshop which got STAR DIAGNISIS to scan wat code is that..
