Singer inspiration thread wraps around bobbin seat while sewing

Thread continually wraps around bobbin seat mechanism and tightens up until it can no longer move. The entire bobbin holder is loose and gets shifted around. This happens at random times, but when it begins to happen, it is very difficult to get it going normally again. This seems to be a recurring problem with this machine. What is the solution?

It sounds like you need a new bobbin case. and it would be a good idea to have the machine serviced

SOURCE: Upper thread wraps around bobbin mechanism, while sewing

IT PROBABLY IS THREADED INCORRECTLY. GO SLOWLY BY THE DIAPHRAGM AND MAKE SURE IT IS THREADED CORRECTLY. ALSO MAKE SURE SPOOL PIN HOLDERS ARE IN PLACE THAT HELPS TO GUIDE THE THREAD CORRECTLY.

Bottom thread: you can pull right out of material after stitched.

Very vague question... well it's not even a question. If the bobbin thread is straight with little loops... your top tension is too loose. Tighten it.

The stitching on the back of the fabric is loose and the thread seems to be wrapping around the bobbin.

These are th problems typically caused by:

Improper path for the top thread.
Debris around the bobbin case.
Or a timing problem requiring the machine to be serviced.

The bobincase springs up giving no stitch in singer inspiration

Try buying a new bobbin case, it probably was damaged by jumping out of position.

Cannot thread bobbin

If I remember correctly this machine has a little arm in the bobbin case area. You will need to open the slide plate, move that arm towards the middle of the bobbin. Thread your machine as normal, take the thread going through the needle eye and wrap it around the thumb screw a couple times, then start "sewing" your bobbin should begin filling, once started, you can release the thread wrapped around the thumbscrew. Once filled, you simply close the slide plate and that moves the arm back into place and start sewing.

i think you have not looped the thread around the tension on the top before putting it onto the bobbin. you need to wrap the thread in a circle around the sphere near the regualr threading lines.

I have a singer-inspiration machine and it appears that the thread keeps getting caught up in the bobbin area so my thread birdnests. I am new to sewing and this is a new machine.

"Birdnesting" occurs when there is no tension on the needle thread to pull the bobbin thread. This is easily corrected by rethreading the machine, following the threading path carefully and making sure the thread is fully engaged in the tension mechanism.
