SOURCE: How do I recycle my dead PowerRite Plus 360 UPS?

Most cities have local recycling centers where you can drop off paper, plastic, etc. They usually have something set up for electrical components like VCRs and batteries. The PowerRite Plus was an old Deltec model. Deltec was acquired a few times and is now belongs to Eaton. If you are looking for a new UPS, you can participate in the UPSgrade program which includes recycling your old UPS: eaton.com/upsgrade.

My Kenmore HE plus constant beeping, bu runs and no error codes flahing

Sounds like a computer malfunction. The manual does not mention beeping in the trouble shooting section.
Try unplugging the machine for a minute. This may reset the computer.

UPS emits a regular beep at about 5 minute time lapses - what is the problem?

My guess it it is trying to get your attention for some reason. While I am not familiar with this brand, the competition brand beeps because of battery failure or impending failure.

Sound problem

Is it a hissing sound ? If it is a hissing sound and you can smell ionized air (ozone) then there may be some high voltage leaks (corona discharge) in the High voltage supply coming from the flyback transformer. This happens when there is a path to ground because of dirt dust or spider web, or your surrounding is humid.

Keeps making a beeping noise

Hi, if the unit is fairly new, you may want to claim warranty check or replacement. If it has been used for some time, it may be that: 1) the battery is dying, 2) not getting enough charge or 3) too much load. For 1, battery replacement might be required. Care should be taken since this requires opening the enclosure, removing the old battery (might have acid leaks) and replacing with a new one. For 2), any competent techncian could diagnose and repair. For 3) try removing all other loads to the UPS and just run the PC with the monitor and see if the problem still exist. Hope this works for you and please let me know how things trun up. Regards.
