Oven not working

The electronic igniter is not drawing the proper amperage to open the grill gas valve...

You need to check the thermostat it's usually the problem with most ovens.it's the prob that runs down in the oven with a solid copper looking wire Google it it will tell you how to test it.

1 . If your ELECTROLUXfan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning thefood more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor isworking you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element isheating but the fan motor is notblowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is alittle more expensive and a bit more involved.
2 . If you have the opposite problem i.e. your ovenis over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your ELECTROLUXoven thermostat
3. A quite common and easily overlooked answer isif your ELECTROLUX oven is not working at all i.e. noheat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTOmode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

If it is a fan assisted oven, and the fan is working, then it is likely to be a faulty heating element.
This should be located behind a removeable cover at the rear of the oven compartment.
If the fan is not working as well, then could be a faulty thermostat, even without the element or fan not working, there should be an indicator light on to show that the power is on,
Also make sure the main oven is set for manual operation, and not set on auto, as this will prevent the main oven coming on if it is.

Has anyone done any repairs to the oven lately? It sounds like it's working in reverse. The fan is supposed to come on about 10 minutes after the oven is turned on. The reason I ask this question is if someone did work on it they could have wired the fan relay wrong. If not you have a problem with the oven fan relay. They occasionally short and it wll cause them to run the opposite way they are supposed to.

your neighbour is probably right. fan should work but if the element has disintegrated, bits of the element could be jamming the fan. take the rear panel off inside the oven and check
