New ps3 headset won' t work

My new mad catz ps3 bluetooth headset won't work with the game "bad company" but the ps3 detects it when testing. How can I fix it so I can communicate with others in the game? Thanks for any help.

    Same problem, i can play online without the headset but when i use it, it kicks me out

    It works in the ps3 menu, but when I try to use it in Bad Company I can't hear or speak.

Like my headset was fully charged and i got grounded then it wouldnt work when i got my ps3 back if you have had the same problem shoot me a email at [email protected] if you have fixed it tell me out

Do you try to sync a headset plugged in or unplugged
When synching your headset, you want to have it unplugged.
Make sure you turn on your headset before synching.
Go into your PS3 settings and under the bluetooth option, select the auto-detect.
Your PS3 should find the headset and identify it.

mad catz are very un realiable devices ive had a few brand new mad catz products that failed on first try its probably a fault within the power supply

Mad Catz is not licensed by Sony.The package probably said licensed by Mad Catz which means absolutely nothing.You need a Sony brand headset or one 'licensed by Sony'.The off brands cause problems 99% of the time. Good luck and game on!

There may be a mute switch.However Mad Catz is not licensed by Sony.The package probably read licensed by Mad Catz which means absolutely nothing.You need Sony brand or one that says licensed by Sony.Off brands almost always cause problems.I used to work on game systems professionally.Good luck and game on!
