No you don't have to buy a new printer :-) for a few pence /cents you can buy an adapter from eBay.

SOURCE: Message: Memory Card Error - Memory Card Parameter Error on 4gb SDHC card

I recently bought a DMC-TZ3 and have been researching memory cards. Several sites sell cards with the camera and list the card type. I would suggest buying one of these cards. Any cards larger than 2gb must be SDHC type SD cards. There appear to different types of SDHC cards, 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0. Check out Wikipedia.org for a description. 2.0 cards are not compatable for devices developed prior to 2.0 so that may be the reason for the camera problem. So far I haven't seen anything that states what type SDHC card the camera requires. I found a computer memory site that that sells memory that they say will work. There may be others.

I think your camera is not compatible with the SDHC card you bought. Check this: http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/connect/dsc/dsc.html

SOURCE: I bought a 4g SDHC card for my camera canon powershot sd400.

Well, first of all, I'm not exactly an expert on this, so please don't rely solely on my response.

It's possible that it needs an SD card, not an SDHC card. SDHC cards are high capacity, and some cameras just aren't able to use them because they're set up for the plain SD cards. Does it say what kind it needs in the manual? I think, if it's an older camera, I'm not sure what age exactly, they can't use SDHCs. Like I said, I'm not an expert, so you might want to get more info, if you can. Hope this helps.

Ive put an sdhc card in it and its sayjng the cards broken

I don't think it supports SDHC (like the picturemate 250).
Try a 2GB SD card.

EPSON PICTUREMATE PRINTER WILL NOT ACCEPT 4GB

Here is a quote from the Epson website.

"These products were developed and released at a time when large capacity cards such as 2GB or 4GB SD cards were not commercially available or widely available. Therefore the printer and its memory card reader do not recognise larger capacity memory cards."

So you're stuck with it I'm afraid.

Problem printing pictures

That card is probably too big for that card reader in the printer to read. You have to have a card reader that can read Secure Digital High Capacity cards. The most you can probably get out of the card reader on the printer is either 1 or 2 gb secure digital.

You might be able to get away with using the pictbrige connection on the printer and print that way as long as the memory card is loaded into the camera.

If that doesn't work you will have to get a card reader that can read SDHC cards.

PNY SDHC 4GB memory card

Hey Teelo,
I would try reinstalling your software, or updating your drivers. You could also try getting a card reader that connects to a USB port and try transferring your images with that instead of connecting the camera directly to the computer. I also have included a link to the manufacturer where you can download the latest version of your software, and troubleshoot your issue if still needed. I hope this helps!
