Hansgrohe Axor 41538 toilet paper holder

How do you detach this toilet paper holder from the wall?  Many of the accessories in this line are attached to the wall with a resin bracket into which the accessory (e.g. toilet paper holder; soap dispenser; hand towel rack) is inserted.  The accessory locks into the bracket.  How do you unlock it from the bracket?  There is an access hole in the housing that surrounds the bracket, but pushing the round metal screw/button inside that hole doesn't allow the accessory to be detached from its mounting bracket.  Further, the round metal screw/button is not an allen nut.
Frustratingly, I cannot get the toilet paper holder to detach from its mounting bracket!  It is one of the cunnundrums of our age.

How to install hansgrohe toilet brush

This model has a bracket that will mount to the wall using two screws and plastic anchors. Then the brush holder will snap into place on this bracket. There will be a hole in the bottom of the holder that will look like a set screw but this is only a push pin. It is spring activated and not threaded. To remove it you simply push up on this pin and pull the holer off the wall bracket. If you need further help feel free to contact Hansgrohe Tech at 1-800-334-0455. I installed a Moen Sage toilet paper holder. The right cover that attaches to the wall hardware via a small screw is loose and no amount of tightening corrects the problem. What am I doing wrong?

It is likely that the the mounting post on the wall has pulled loose.

You will need to remove the paper holder and inspect themounting posts; loosen the set screws in the base of the posts to do this.

Try tightening the screws holding the mounting posts to the wall. If the screws are unable to hold tight you will need to replace the wall anchors if they have been used.

Remove the mounting posts and the wall anchors and replace with new wall anchor, preferably a toggle anchor designed for sheetrock if possible.

With the wall anchors in place attach the mounting posts and install the paper holder; tightening the set screws in at the base of the posts.

Installation instructions for your product can be found here:

I've just fitted a Nabis breeze and am having flushing problems.

Well many toilets flush very high before flushing, they appear to almost overflow, but if that doesn't seem like your problem, I would recommend adjusting the float on the Fluid-master fill valve so that there is less water in the tank when it flushes.

How does the holder detach? Allen wrench, star, push with a screw driver? What do you use to remove the holder from the wall?

there is no set screw or allen key for this. It is mounted in the anchor bolt by use of a mounting screen, pressed in until it clicks and difficult to remove

Hansgrohe 41533 wall mounted soap dish install

I had the same problem with a Hansgrohe set screw on my toilet paper holder. Thought an allen wrench would do to open it but it does not work, I had to use the end of a pointy dinner knife to coax it out, might have also used a flat edge glass repair screwdriver also to get it out. It almost look as if it was "stripped" in the opening. I'm now trying to find a replacement set screw and came across this page. Hope that helps.
