We had a power outage and the menu for the Sanyo tv is locked - older model - not sure what the model number. I can't change the channel, search for a channel, change the line that is filtering in. I changed the line for my XBox 360 just so we could play, but it would be nice to change the channel if needed. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

try this this code definetly is solve your problem.
1st go to the locked channel.
and then press menu>system>child lock
and then press and hold down tv/av key and press swap key.
and see locked channel is unlock.

Most of these TV's were designed to primarily be programed with the remote control. If you don't have the remote that came with the TV you will need a good quality universal remote. I had the sdame trouble with a couple of different brands and models. Use of the remote was the key each and every time.
