Broken battery cover for photosmart 435, can I get another?

Everyone I used a large paper clip straightened & cut it to size .i did try to grind down a nail on my drill but that did not work You have to take some small screws out around the door then fit the metal pin from the large paperclip and the put the screws back .Alternatively you could try watch pins etc .But hey paperclips are very cheap .They might not be as robust as the origonal but the will do the trick.Lasted at least 6 months untill i dropped the camera recently.

This is because your camera is of old version and vista doesn't support it. to solve this problem you should visit to the website of your camera which is given in the manual of it and download driver for vista.

There could be few probablities. Make sure that the batteries are fine. You could take a cleaning solution and clean the battery connectors. Sometimes, if there would be dust, dirt and rust around the connectors, it would cause problems. Try to reset the camera, by pulling out batteries for few minutes, say 15 minutes and then putting it back on. If the problem persists, it would be more an electronic failure viz might be any IC or chip on the board or any loose electrical connection.If that is the case, dissembling and inspecting the board is the best option. I cannot comment on the cost of the repair as sometimes it is better to invest than to repair the existing product.
