Users don't be able to know that how to change wifi password of the ATT router & looking for the instant solution online from the expert's end need to contact @18885855194 toll-free number & fixed all the issues related to ATT router.
Unable to connect to Internet - Error Codes (13), (22) and 86-844
I have a problem connecting to the Internet. My DirecTV equipment is as follows:
Receiver: DirecTV HDDVR (Model: HR22/100)
Ethernet Wireless Bridge: Linksys WET54G ver. 3.1
Router: Linksys e3000
- NB: this currently provides home network support for about 8 other devices (all working ok)
1) DEFAULT Option
When attempting to connect to the network with default settings I receive the following error:
IP Address: 169.254.9.168 ok
Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0 ok
Default gateway: - -
DNS: - -
Network: Connected
Internet: Not Connected (13)
Result Code: 86-844
2) MANUAL Option
Because the default option failed, I also tried manual settings to specify a static IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS. I then got the following error:
IP Address: 192.168.1.65 ok
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 ok
Default gateway: 192.168.1.1 ok
DNS: 205.152.37.23 ok
Network: Connected
Internet: Not Connected (22)
Result Code: 86-844
I also used the RED RESET button on the DirecTV receiver as suggested in an earlier post but neither approach worked.

Use wired Ethernet, so it works. easy.
wifi is far more complex.
best is to own the router, you have.
then login to it and set it up for wpa./wpa2
wep off.
and a nice password for wifi so others cant hack it. in the hood.
then use those credentials all all your toys. xbox, PCs and cell.
that is the best way
the access point is covered in you manual for the router
there is AP button there, you push.
the PC in question my guess is the drivers are no good.
missing wrong, or corrupted.
no PC full model stated.
no OS stated
no router stated.
so answers will be weak to wrong,.

SOURCE: Laptop can't find access point!

Some laptops come with a button\switch or use key combination to turn on or off the wireless(to conserve power)! Refer to your user manual for exact instructions! If that didn't solve the situation then it could be your actual wireless card within the laptop is giving trouble! regards, babb

SOURCE: Repeater

The repeater must be the same brand as the signal it is repeating. Different routers / access points work in slightly different ways and the current generation of wireless repeaters aren't smart enough to work with other brands.

It's kind of like trying to put an engine from a Nissan Altima into a Honda Accord... both make the car move but they aren't the same inside.

SOURCE: After a windy day lost wireless connection

For a new unit disconnect the eoc from the network and connect directly (through POE injector of course) to your laptop/pc.  then in network connections setup your lan port TCP/IP settings as follows.  ip 192.168.1.10 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 then gateway 192.168.1.1

point your browser to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2 (one if it is in AP mode and the other address works if it is in bridge mode).

When configuring, I assign it an new static IP outside of the DHCP assignment range.

To see how it is setup afterwords you can use hyperterminal with a null modem cable to view the current config.  instructions on the engeniustech.com support page.

New download of windows 7 won't retain or create internet connectins

Ok, this is conflicting... won't retain or create!! Doesn't it have to be created to retain it?

Did it connect before you downloaded windows 7? Exactly what happens when you try to get on the internet? Do you have the wireless switch on the laptop turned on? Do you see your wireless router? If so did you put the password in correctly? If not, it will never connect.

My windows 7 Pc cannot access my windows vista

you should check two things:

1- Check in your windows Vista if the file and print sharing is enable in the "network and sharing center"
2- Try disabling your firewall in your windows Vista to troubleshoot. If your firewall is blocking the connection you might have tp add a rule to allow access from your windows 7 to your windows vista

Wireless router looses connection from 9:00 PM to 7:00 Am everyda

what channel are you running the access point on? The only thing i can think of is that some wireless interference starts around that time of night which wipes out your wireless sign. Changing the channel may help (but change it to some atleast 5 above or below the current setting as the channels overlap).

Att 2wire wireless and dlink

the only thing you need for connecting 360 to wireless is an Internet connection, an 802.11G wireless router, and a wifi adapter that connects to your 360. They have these at walmart or any gaming store. I suggest giving your 2-Wire back to ATT! NOT QUALITY. Especially for gaming.
I myself prefer my box to be hard wired as lag is far less. BUT..for wifi
Get a Linksys Router and XBox brand wifi adapter for 360. Also google xbox connect. Instead of paying for LIVE
