i think this might help. i've locked my i-pod before and all i did was connect the USB cord and plugged it into my computer. when it comes on, its registered to the cumputer and the i-pod automaticly unlocks. i did this with my shuffle nano. im almost sure this method wroks with any i-pod though.

I got my phone unlocked a day ago, and now when i try to call or text ANYONE (including landline numbers) even the people in the same network it wont allow me! it is seriously frustrating, can anyone...

Good Day,
You may try the following,
First try to restore it to factory settings:
press 2945#*910 , it will either show you a menu, wherein just select factory reset, or it will automatically reboot. Just let it reboot for a while, and then afterwards try if you can call or text now.
If it does not solve this, check the phone by using other SIM, and check if it sends or call. If it does sends text and you are able to call, your SIM is faulty or either the unlock process "may" be erroneous. Either way you can also insert your LG KC910's SIM to other phone to check if it can send texts and place calls.

If the problem is with your sim, a replacement is needed. but if the sim is fine, the phone may have incurred "software" related issue and the best thing to do is to return the phone to the shop which performed the unlock process and explain what happens.
Also, but not commonly experienced, unlocking phones locked to any network, is not allowed by some networks, if you are still under their contract. It is stated on the contract you have signed. If in any way the network company you have a contract with finds out, (they always do) they may "BLACKLIST" the phones IMEI, rendering it useless because it wont be able to send texts, calls, etc. This is not always an isuue but sometimes telecom companies do this specially when you are under a contract or "LOCK-IN" period.

Jope this helps you. Thank you for using Fixya.

My kid was playing with it and now i cant unlock my screen

Hello :

Connect your iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock iPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.

good luck .

I am not able to unlock my iPod classic. Tried different way to unlock but not successful. I tried toggle on and off then reset the iPod. Also I restored the iPod but still not been able to use click...

Usually if your lock Icon is visible on any ipod, that indicates the Hold "button" is in the locked position. If the hold button isn't in the locked position, I'd try sliding it to the locked position and then back over to the unlocked position as the button sometimes comes free of the bracket that actuallys slides the switch.

Cannot unlock 2gb i pod

Screen Lock only locks users out of the user interface. It does not encrypt data on your iPod.
For example, if you use Screen Lock and then connect your iPod to a computer, you'll still be able
to manage music on your iPod with iTunes and access all data on it in disk mode (contacts,
notes, and any other files you have stored on the iPod).

To unlock it, connect iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with),
and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.

If you can't unlock iPod using this method, you can restore your iPod to factory settings. Please
note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to iPod.

To restore your I-pod, do this:
1) Ensure that you have an active Internet connection as new versions of iTunes and iPod Software
may need to be downloaded to your computer.
2) Open iTunes, and then connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that
came with your iPod. After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
3) Select your iPod in the Source panel and you will see information about your iPod appear in the
Summary tab of the main iTunes windows.
4) Click the Restore button. You will be prompted with one or more restore options that may prompt
iTunes to automatically download the latest iPod Software. Use restore option 4.

IPOD NANO

you first have to find out if it's a screen lock (you can succesfully connect it to your computer) or a "manage lock" (connecting doesn't work too)

if it's a screen lock, connect the ipod the the computer you first used it with (the one you used to install the ipod), open itunes and then disconnect again, it should be unlocked

if it's a manage lock, connect the ipod to the computer and restore the factory settings, warning, this will erase ALL data.
then reconnect it and synchronise
