Restaurant Pro....is there anyway to delete a modifier without deleting the whole order on the invoice? I.E. Customer orders a salad, changes their mind and does not want tomatoes. How do I delete tomatoes without deleting the salad?

Hi Judy,
You probably have it set to combine lines on invoices. Go to your options screen. Select SETUP, then SETUP SCREEN. Click the INVOICE SETTINGS tab, then uncheck COMBINE LINES, click UPDATE, then EXIT. Now each item should display on its own line.

I have a credit card tab which will not clear or authorize. This won't let people clock out. How can I delete this Open Tab? I just want to delete the whole sale. $27.00 charge.

Hi Bryan,

Shut down the program. Start it back up. After login, recall invoice and just void it.

Search under "caches" on your system.It should show you all the files in your database.Then right click on the file you want to delete then delete it.

The server may have had your admin password. The default password is common knowledge by searching the web. This should be changed or disabled. The information you need is in the database. It will even give you the server ID that deleted the transaction. Someone familiar with querying an SQL database is what you need. I can help you, but not for free. Too much time and experience needed.

I got an order stuck on my screen in pc america and it won't delete, it keeps freezing the computer when you try to fix it, how do i delete it?

Have you tried voiding the invoice? If this also freezes the program, then you will need someone to delete the invoice manually from the database. This is usually done with an SQL management software program. CAUTION: always backup your database before attempting this.

Open table usually means you have an invoice on hold. Check your on hold invoices and clear that up.
Are you trying to delete the #101 Cash Customer. The system should not allow you to do that and might be causing a conflict when you try to run the report.

For the price, it is a good product. It uses an SQL database and can be customized in many ways. As with any good restaurant POS, the main concern is getting the menu programmed into the software so that invoicing flows smoothly. Once programmed, it is easy to show employees how to operate.

Unless you are going to spend a lot of time learning the software, I would recommend letting someone program menu for you. Then you just learn how to modify or change it. (add items or price change)

It sounds like your having a problem with your SQL server and may need to reload it. Backup your database first just to be safe.
