That would follow. Assuming the PC's unspecified sound card (output) is set up to export the digital bitstream that the Pioneer can accept. Read some manuals.
Test with an surround sound media ie. Blu-ray or DVD)_. Disconnect the front and all other speakers that are working to see if sound from the missing speakers are heard. If this doesn't work then start by tracing and checking all the wires from the receiver to the speakers for bad/shorted/open connections.

silly Question John?? Have you or anybody changed modes on the reciver??? Not so silly as i've seem even a power do that. if not in the system then try unplugging for 24 hours and starting over again . let us know as maybe we can come up with more as we get more info. Good Luck
