To set datestamp to appear on your pictures:

Hit FUNC SET (middle of wheel on back)
Hit Right side of wheel to SELECT the mode you would like to have (Auto, Man, etc)
Hit Bottom of wheel to get to bottom of Left Menu on screen
Hit Right side of wheel to SELECT fifth selection (Postcard 1600x1200)

This is the only mode I have found that supports the date stamp on the Canon Powershot SD600.
P.S. Don't forget to set the correct date and time in the screen MENU under the Tools tab!

Sanyo put date on pictures

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

I need to put a date/stamp on my pictures on my Fujifilm Finepix S2000 that will print on the pictures. Is this possible?

The camera stores the date with each file, but it will not deface your pictures by scribbling a string of numbers across them. Please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer, you can print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Purchased a Kodak easyshare M320 can not figure out how to set

You have two options for getting the date printed on your pictures. One is to set the appropriate option in whatever software you're using to print. The other is to have the camera put it there in the image itself. This means that if the date happens to cover something important, you won't be able to get it back.

To set the camera to put the date stamp on every picture, press Menu, use left/right to highlight Setup, then use up/down to access "Date Stamp".

Print date/time on pictures

The camera does not add the date and time to the image itself, but rather saves it in the file as it does other information.

When printing a picture you can select that you wish to add a date/time stamp.

Time/date stamp on pictures when printing

I had the same problem. I wanted to set my Olympus C5000 Zoom to automatically date stamp photos. After going through the entire manual, I had to call Olympus directly. They told me that none of their cameras have an internal date stamp feature. They said that the date stamp lowers the quality of the picture, so they choose not to have the feature available. However, you can manually add the date and time stamp through the software that comes with the camera, just before you print the pictures. Hope that helps...
