I have my PF-2 for about a year and 3 month, well it decided that it won't print anymore. It loads the cd and dumps it out, won't start printing on it, it acts like there is no cd, the paper feed light starts blinking. Any help please?
First try re-installing the PF-2 print drivers. If that doesn't work, then try a different ink cartridge. If you have printed more than 5000 discs in the printer, it just may need a good cleaning as the sensors would be full of dried ink.

Hello, Verse 1, Soon I'll come to the end of my journey. And I'll meet the One who gave His life for me. And I will thank him for the love that He gave me. And ten thousand years or more I'll reign with Him. Verse 2, We will just begin to sing loves sweet story. And it's a song that the angels they just could not sing. And I've been redeemed by the blood of my Savior. And ten thousand years or more I'll praise His name. Chorus 1, Ten thousand years...we'll just be started. Ten thousand years...we've just begun. The battle will be over...and the victory is won. Ten thousand years...and we've just begun. Chorus 2, Ten thousand years...we'll just be started. Ten thousand years... we've just begun. The battle will be over...and the victory is won. Ten thousand years... and we've just begun. For the battle is over & the victory's been won...Ten thousand years and we've just begun. Ten thousand years...and we've just begun.
Either the sensor and/or the laser lens inside the tray are dirty, a common fault printers)or you are not aligning the disk properly when placing in the tray. You can try using a CD\DVD cleaning disk and a can of compressed air to blow out dust. If this fails uninstall the printer's drivers and software and reinstall everything from the beginning. If that fails return for repairs. NEVER use stick on disc labels, only use write on discs
If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
hi clicking sound is not goood.sounds like the motor is gone.but try basics first.clean condensing unit.ventilate.check refrigerant and motor relay.good luck.Ali
Your hard drive may have gone south. Remove it and check with diagnostic software. Bad sectors in critical areas of operating system data will do this.
I have the same problem since the early beginning after purchase. I'm very upset with NAD for the zero-value technical service in Italy. After 2 months they gave me back my C541 with new defects (the tray now doesn't work properly). They have tried - they said - different optics without fixing the problem. Does anybody know if a compatible optic / tray exists?
Thank you

The previous poster is most likely correct. You have to use Microboards ink for the PF-2, PF-3 and PF-Pro printers. The part number you need is the PRF38ml. The PF-2 printer has a sensor for the barcode on the PRF38ml as well as a RFID chip for verification.
If this does not fix your issue, then the sensors that scan the barcode and the RFID chip may be broken, dirty or out of alignment. If so, you need to contact Microboards or an authorized Microboards repair center for repair services.
