SOURCE: logitech speakers will only play on 2 speakers not 5

Liamog, i bought the exact same speakers and sound card, and i had the exact same problem as you. I tried for days to fix it and it turns out that its only a setting you have to enable in your sound card settigns. If you go into your EAX console for your creative sound card you will find a thing that sams CMSS 3D, and all you have to do is select the button that says Enable CMSS 3d surround. I hope this will fix your problem. Alex.

SOURCE: Logitech R-20 subwoofer not working on windows 7

This undoubtably is a driver problem. You could try running and installing in Administrator, mode and compatability Mode for XP SP2. Either that or ask Logitech whats their fix.

Go into control panel, then go to device manager and see Audio devices. Check to see if your Realtek is listed as your default audio device. If it isn't you have to add hardware and add the audio device using your setup disk that should of came with the computer. If the audio device is set up and working in device manager then check your cable from the mother board to the jack on the audio out that is mounted on the mother board. Finally if non of that works see if you can borrow a set of speakers to try to see if they work with your setup.

My soundcard is not working while using 8vm533m-rz model gigabyte mother board in windows 7

so the PC mobo has and addin, PCI card sound"?
2004 PC mobo relic, now and 13yo to you.
no card told. (fail)(buy only w7 allowed card if must)
you did say CARD so means NOT ON-BOARD sound chip.
relic P4 PC. mobo
v1.0 mobo?
this trash mobo uses EOL DOA, via chipsets, that do not allow w7
Integrated Realtek ALC662 audio CODEC chip
this chip set is dead too, from maker realtek.
if you knew that, and added a secret sound card.
this mobo only does windows 200o to XP says so on page one at gigabytes this mobo.
so w7 does not belong hear unless replacing every thing there that fails 1 by 1, , pain. ive done this vast times, for folks willing to.
last xp driver is here for realtek
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/8VM533M-RZ-rev-10/support#support-dl-driver

as a rule only this OEM maker PC can make there sound chips work (as a team of parts) not simple as many think, even has mixer chips and more, all custom to maker.
yes cards work better,
on this mobo the VIA chip and codec chip must work or sound will be dead. and is common this. lacking no vista driver up, ever/

this mobo has no SATA ports nor any PCI express card slots at all.
and finding PCI (non express) cards that can run w7 can be hard.
for sure now. yes possible, with careful searching specs of relic PCI cards.
also the VIA chip dead makes The ethernet port dead too. and usb dead and IDE drives dead, vista up.
never buy VIA chipped mobo. or pain is all there is. no drivers.

No sound device in Sounds and Audio Devices after Realtek Sound Driver install

Download the attachment I found, unpack it into your folder of choice.
Then move over to the control panel and select that "PCI Device". Rightclick and install the audio bus drivers I provided for the PCI Device. During installation Windows should find something like Microsoft UAA Bus driver, I don't know the exact name. Do a restart after installation and everything should work fine.

Audio driver

The GA-7N400 Pro 2 uses the Realtek ALC650/655 Audio AC'97 Codec for onboard sound.

Here is the site you'll need to go to.

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=1756

I would recommend that you be sure to install ALL of the basic drivers. This includes not only the audio drivers but the CHIPSET drivers as well. Especially since this is an nForce 2 board. Those boards are rather touchy. Chipset drivers will keep the system more stable and help it to run more efficiently.

You may also download more up-to-date drivers for the audio from RealTek's website at:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=23&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#AC

This should be easy... :)
