I have JVC Everio GZ-MC100 ayear ago, and there is 1 problem that came up. the messages pop on sreen "error! reinsert the card" I bring it to repair, took whole month to came back, Tech said: nothing wrong with that and bring to try, the problem still there, Please tell me why? thank you. or any one have any Idea, Please let me known,
Did you delete all card files on your pc?
if so, camera will not function properly. Try formating the cf card on your computer and format it again inside JVC camera,
try inserting a normal cf card(should work) in order to find if you have a faulty cf card

I had the same problem. I think the fault happened when i've charged 2 compatible batteries one after another. warmed up to much i believe. Had to send it for repair. cost me 100 euros
though luck...
this camera doesn't come with software to transfer videos. Just plug your camera (or insert the cf card, on a card reader) and copy your videos to your pc. you can use the image import feature on windows to do the job (but don't delete the videos with your pc. If you do the camera will state a error)
