IE8 Outlook Problem

Installed IE8 and this caused a problem with Outlook. I opened Outlook and all I had was the mail headers, no bodies. My mails just disappeared, all is left of them are the headers.

How can I get my mails back?
Why did this happen? How can I fix it?

I cannot view my outlook since I installed IE8. As soon I log in, a pop-up occurs that says an error has happened with bla bla bla, then it stops trying to load my mail.

Try setting "Compatibility View" in IE 8, then restart Outlook and see if that helps.

Usually I solve problems with outlook with the aid of one tool, which I found out at one soft blog. Utility might relieve in this situation quite effectively - restore outlook.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 I can obtain new e-mail headers using Yahoo Mail but trying to get the e-mail body just provides a 'circling arrow' sign

Theres no such thing as new email headers, only "full" email headers. The circling arrow means you're getting it stuck screwing around. (i.e. your confusing your browser), try using firefox, or chrome, or slimbrowser, etc.

Mail button does not now open mail. Outlook express is set in IE8 as default mail.

1) CLICK ON START
2) Go to ("Default programs" if You have windows 7 and vista) and ("set programs access and default" if you have Xp)
3) On windows 7 and vista. Click on "Set Default Programs" then choose you email provider ""yahoo, windos mail, or Outlook."
4) finally click on "' Set this program as default"

for XP just check the e-mail provider and click ok.

hope this helps

Cannot send/recieve mail outlook express

If you have installed Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, it will set itself as your default mail client. Hit the Windows ball or Start button on the lower left of the desktop - All Programs - Outlook Express. When it opens; hit File - Export - To Outlook (Messages). Outlook Express will export all of your messages, contacts and account settings to Outlook 2007 and you will be able to use the better, upgraded Outlook Mail client.

Can't use either Microsoft Live Mail or Lookout Express v6 with Belkin Router. Can't send or receive email Can you tell me what the email setup is for either one? Both email programs probably use the same...

Ask COMCAST for the names of their POP-server and of their MAIL-server, and configure Outlook Express to use those names.

Microsoft Live Mail is "web-based" -- all you need to do is to web-surf to their web-site, login, and click "send/receive" or click "compose" and later "send".

I have windows mail and would like outlook express. Is there somewhere I can download it for free or do I have to buy a program?

If you have Windows Mail, you no doubt are running Windows Vista. Sorry, but Outlook Express is not supported in Vista. You are stuck with Windows Mail or a third-party mail client. FYI, I use Thunderbird and am quite satisfied. It works with Windows XP through Windows 7

Email

My assumption is you installed Outlook before you installed Snag..
You then installed Snag and either you or "it" set Outlook as you mail program. When you deleted Outlook Snag did what it was suppose to do....greyed it out since the mail program does not exist and longer. You can't send mail unless you have a mail program.
