One of the big selling points of Android devices was their Adobe Flash compatibility. Now that flash is being phased out of convention, you won't be able to download flash from the Play Market. The flash player only works on 2.2+ versions of android. So you can wait for the official update, or try to find an update online (custom roms).

Or root the phone and then install the Flash app.
