I think #39 on this link is the presser foot lever.

If you're looking for the foot control, that is #16 on the first link.

SOURCE: faulty presser foot lifter on a singer 2110/2112.

I have seen these machines with broken presser bar clamps (something inside the head). If it is just a bind then some oil on the presser bar may work, if the clamp is broken then it is probably not worth fixing.
Good luck!

Huskylock 905, bought new, just love it. Changed thread, first time ever the blue looper keeps breaking. Rethreaded x 20. Still breaking. Sounds good, cleaned regularly with canned air, etc. Help!

Hello Christine,
Since I can not be there with you to guide you, here is video showing the threading Detailed How to Thread Viking Huskylock 905 Serger
However a few additional tips:
1. Make sure to use good quality thread.
2. Make sure to use fresh thread. Thread does have a shelf life.
3. Make sure that the tension, stitch length, and blade position are at the correctly set for the type of stitch required.
4. Make sure that the 'lower looper' thread is sitting "over" the 'upper looper' and "over" the 'upper looper thread'. This is VERY important.
5. Make sure that the threads are not caught-up/wound-up/stuck around anything.
This should solve that phantom challenge. Please let me know how the stitching works out, or come back with more information/questions
Please give me a thumbs up if this was helpful.
Happy serging

Why is My fabric is not feeding through the pressure foot

the feed dogs are what move the fabric under the presser foot so the needle can sew. check your instruction manual and see where the lever is that operates the feed dogs. if the lever is up then the feed dogs will feed the fabric, if the lever is down, then the fabric will stay in place. if the lever is up and the feed dogs are not working, then it's time to have them checked.

I have a HUSQVARNA VIKING HUSKYLOCK 905 serger....it was my grandma's and when she passed away her machine has just been sitting for 3 years....i went to try it out and power and lights come on but...

This machine came with an instructional videotape...can you locate it with her items? If not, you may be able to purchase one from Husqvarna/Viking. Go to: http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/ko/880_814.htm in order to contact customer service. Good Luck and happy sewing!.

When using four threads, it starts out fine, but within a few inches, the loops begin to form off the fabric and it makes a mess.

You may try tightening the pressure on the presser foot. If that doesn't help, it usually a sign it is time for a maintenance tune up. I have the 936 and I use it a lot. When I start having that problem, I know it is time for it's "check up."

I have a Huskylock 905 serger and all of a sudden it won't create a loop. I'm 99% sure that I have it threaded correctly. Any thoughts on what might have gone wrong?

Rethread. If still not working the loopers are out of adjustment. You might want to take it to an authorized husqvarna viking dealer for service. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.
