I was playing dark age of camelot for several hours and logged out, shut pc down, unplugged power box(which had monitor, tower, and sterio receiver plugged in it) from wall then moved the table with all of them on it to different wall plugged power box back in which the receiver was on and started playing FM radio, monitor received power as saw power button light up and speaker light came on but when i pushed tower power button it does nothing. i thought at first the voltage switch below the tower plug was a small circuit breaker and switched it from 115v to 230v and still didn't turn on. when tower plugged in and on either 115v or 230v the green light right there blinks.

Remove the power supply after everything is unplugged and take it to your nearest electronics store. They should have a tester there. This is probably the problem.

Perform a hard shut down on your computer by holding the power button down for roughly 6-8 seconds. After that, take out the battery and unplug the power cord. Once that is done, hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds. This will reset the computers cache. This might solve your computers not shutting down issue.
Try draining the power of the computer first. completely shut it down by pressing poweer button for like 5-7 sec. then unplug power supply from the outlet. then press and hold power button for another 15-20 sec. After that, plug back in the power cord, and turn computer on normally.

open it and check the power system (in the laptop) check for damaged capacitors or any other components that look damaged. Also if any check the coils (i think thats the english name) to be undisrupted, because they have a huge role in starting some power systems ...
