Pannel off freezer not turn on ?

Thank you for your question, Friend.

It sounds like the temperature control of your Frigidaire freezer (FKFH21F7HW) is possibly in the off position. When this occurs the temperature control turns off the compressor, but does not disconnect the power to the light bulb or other electronics. Let's try reactivating your freezer by pressing the UP arrow until display shows "4" or desired setting. Please allow 24 hours for temperature to stabilize. For future reference you can lock the control to keep from accidently changing the temperature setting.

If this is not the case and your freezer has no power, can you please elaborate prior to your problem any other symptoms? For instance, did notice any error codes, or other strange functions? Also, may I have your model number please? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is normally located inside the cabinet on the left/right side wall. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. - Z

When the power is on. error code is off. what is the possible problem?

Hello Friend, this is Z. I am happy to assist you!

I see that your question is listed under Frigidaire Upright Freezer; however, please help me understand the issue you are experiencing. Is your freezer showing error code OFF? If so, the temperature control is in the OFF position. When this occurs the temperature control turns off the compressor, but does not disconnect the power to the light bulb or other electronics. Let's try activating your freezer by pressing the UP arrow until display shows "4" or desired setting. Please allow 24 hours for temperature to stabilize. For future reference you can lock the control to keep from accidently changing the temperature setting. I hope these troubleshooting tips help you in some small way. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your freezer status has changed successfully.

Control board and wiring harness which are supposed to replace Frigidaire 242000406 are apparently not correct. I have now installed 2 of the new control boards and I am unable to get any power to the...

Hello Gentlemen;

My name is Peter; I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

The two of you are on the right track.

The board that you replaced;

Substitution: 5303918498
The electronic control board controls the major electro-mechanical components in the refrigerator. When the electronic control board senses the compressor needs to run to cool the refrigerator, it sends voltage to the compressor and fans. It then receives input from temperature sensors to monitor the temperatures inside the refrigerator and freezer sections.

This is a substitution and can not communicate with your existing electrical control board. You need tor replace this board was well:

Substitution: 241973711 Cost: $83.00

The electronic control board 241973711 controls the major electro-mechanical components in the refrigerator. When the electronic control board senses the compressor needs to run to cool the refrigerator, it sends voltage to the compressor and fans.

When you plugged in your old board and got power, that is because the two boards were communicating.

When you change the board be careful to ground yourself by touching something that is bare metal. Static electricity will knock out a board.

The Electrolux Frigidaire Refrigerator is a good unit. It should last you 20-30 years. If you want a unit that is in constant repair, buy either a Samsung or LG. They have the highest failure and repair cost of all of the manufacturers.

I have a frigidaire stand up freezer model #lffh21f7hw, and the door isn't vacumn sealing the door, why?

If you have too much weight in the door or someone pulled down in the door, it gets twisted. Try lifting up on the bottom outside corner of the door to straighten it up. You might have to loosen the top hinge to reseat it.

Freezer LFFH21F7HW upright is making to much noise when it runs. Is this an ongoing problem?

Hi, What kind of noise is it making?

Also have you tried moving the fridge slightly incase its up against a unit or sitting uneven as this can cause a noise if after this you still have the noise their isnt much you can do about it as its not worth replacing parts that are working fine.

I would move the fridge slightly or adjust the legs so its sitting even as this can cause a vibrating noise.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

My frigidaire FFU20FC6AW7 is not freezing. sides are cool to the touch and they are normally hot. cold air blowing out about 40 degrees.

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

Temperature control show code CE model GLFU2067FW4

It means there is a wiring error in the door. The only way to fix this error is to get a new door. What a pain! I had the same problem and the freezer was only 1 1/2 years old - thank goodness the manufacturer didn't charge me.
