    When I plug my phone in to charge, I am no longer getting the charging icon. There is a red light at the plug spot but no charging icon. Is my phone charging? Why is it doing this?

    when i plug in my phone to charge, the connection seems loose. if i play with the cord just right it will start to charge, as long as i hold it. if i move, it breaks connection. is there a problem with my phone?

    Yes, mine does this too! The flat charger plug snaps into the phone, but wobbles around, and doesn't always connect to charge. I've tried looping a rubberband around the charger plug and the phone, this worked for a while,but now the connection is easily lost. The phone is perfect in all other respects, i really don't want to replace it. Can I get replacement parts somewhere, and replace the flat plug socket in the phoen?

    my phone has done the same thing 2 times before and now its doing it again for a third time what i did the other times to let it charge is get a new charge and that worked for about a month or two but than the problem returns

try with another charger

try with your friends battery

if all these doesnt work it should be either battery or circuit problem

Ask your friends for another charger and try it. If it?s not the charger, take the battery out and put it in the freeze for a few hours if it works a bit you should buy a new battery. If it?s not the charger or the battery you should fix it in a repair shop or buy a new one. Good Luck

Brand new tablet will not turn on
Make sure it is fully charged. Hold power button down for about 10 seconds and wait if nothing comes up press power again for half a second. Still nothing? Then put it on charge, it should show that it is charging with a light of a picture on the screen. If there is no sign of charging, wait about 3 hours leave the charger connected and press the power button again for about a second and wait for it to turn on or for the picture to show it is charging appears on the screen, (make sure the charger is on and connected) . Press the power button again for another 5 seconds and wait. sometimes it takes a little while to turn on, especially if the battery is very flat. Other things to try are check the charger on another device e.g. another table or a phone if you can and try another charger on the tablet if they are compatible, (usually the same plug is o.k, check the voltage is the same. most chargers are USB 5v). It may need a more powerful charger than most small phones,. you can try plugging the USB cable into a car charger or USB 3.0 port on a computer. 2 amps is common for most tablets. Apple may be different, hard to be exact without knowing brand etc.

Why won't the battery charge?
3 logical possibilities comes to mind: 1) Battery is faulty. 2) Charger is bad, not connected to an active wall outlet or not making good connection with the tablet. 3) There is a software issue, possibly with the application that shows the battery status.

CELL PHONE NOT CHARGING
If your phone won't charge via your computer using a USB cable or via your pickup via a car charger, will it charger via the regular travel charger (i.e., plugged into the wall)? If it won't charge that way either, then the issue is with the connection or with the battery. If you replace the battery and it still doesn't charge, then the problem is with the connection. If this is the issue, then I would suggest replacing your phone, especially if it is 2 years or older. If it is a new phone and under 12 months old, then I would suggest getting a warranty replacement from your provider. If it is older, and you don't want to replace it, then try gettin a new battery, however, if it still doesn't charge, then like I said previously, it is the connection and it would be less expensive to replace the phone then to repair the connection.
