This is little pain in the bum is a nightmare if your not sure what your doing with it. If a DHCP server does not exist on the network you'll find it at 192.168.2.30 otherwise use angryip scanner to locate it on your current network. You'll need to configure the Belkin Print Server to join it's wireless service to your existing network, so that it can make itself available on your network. use the ping command to command it's existence on your network. To get the print server to work wirelessly from desktop pcs/laptops you'll now need to install the printer as local printer on all pcs using the original printer software. Once you've done this use the Belkin Quick setup wizard to reconfigure your local printer to access the print server on the network. Then Job done!! took me ages to sort this little bugger out! NB Some printer installations will require you to attach the printer physically to the PC while installing their software. I hope this helps.

Forgot to mention that The Belkin Wireless USB Print Server only works on unsecured and WEP (Open & Shared) systems. NOT WPA and WPA2.

Sorry about the grammar, been a long day!

Your DHCP server will keep track of which MAC Addresses have been given what IP addresses. From there, find the IP address of your Print Server. Ping the IP address to confirm IP connectivity between your computer and the print server. You should then be able to upgrade the firmware.

Hi there, first of all you can only configure that thing by using a telnet-seesion. Therefore you need the IP. You can easily find it by connecting a printer on Port 1 and press print-button.If there's no password set for the setup-menu you can do anything you want. if there is one and you don't know or gorgot it, you'll have to reset your print server by turning the power off, hold the Print-button, turn power on while still holding the print-button for at least one minute. The Status light will start to flash. after that, it will ask for IP-adress via DHCP. good luck ! By the way, where did you get the firmware ? I'b be interested in this, too. I also need a detailed discription of this server. Thanks freddy

SOURCE: changing the IP address

check with the manual of the server that it is having web based management. If yes make your computer ip and subnet mask as per the ip and subnet mask of print server. open the internet explorer type the url as specified in manual enter the username & password as per manual. there will be the setting page displayed where you van change th eip of the print server. if not please write me which type of management it uses to access the settings.
