The machine grinds for a while and the bean light comes on. I have gone through this before with oily beans and I have cleaned out the grinding bin and the chute. When cleaning the chute, I could feel a small metal lever that goes up and down. Could that be part of the problem? Also, I read one fix that stated "inside the grinder where the coffee go down you gonna see a steel piece the coffee goes down the slot remove the old coffee residue on that part clean it good with a tooth brusch or somrthing like that". Is that the metal piece that I am feeling?
Thanks,
I changed the micro switch, and that did the trick. Thanks
Hi,
I think so, most problem with that the grinder grind to the lamp light up is damp in the grinder or oily beans.
if you have two adjustment knob in the bean hopper then the second problems can be the micro switch in the machine that have to be replaced.

I have the same problem. I thought that the coffee was getting stuck in the shoot and the door was not opening to allow the coffee to drop down to the filter press mechanism. In the past, cleaning the coffee out of the grind area seemed to cure the problem but it has not worked this time.
if it is the micro switch I have three questions, what does the micro switch do, is it hard to replace and where do you buy one?
Thanks.
