Jensen VM9311TS wont play cd

I have a 01 dodge durango. my jensen vm9311ts shows that the cd is playing but there is no sound. i just hooked up my aftermarket subs and amp, you can hear the bass of the songs on the cd but nothing from the speakers. everything works fine with an ipod and on tuner. cd issue was the same before subs and amp were put in. i got the jensen from a friend and i saw the cd player working fine in his car. i dont get it. any suggestions????

Ipod 4th gen not charging on Jensen VM9311TS

The issue is that the 4th Generation iPod takes far more energy to run than your 4gb iPod. Updating the firmware has nothing to do with it. It's the amount of energy/voltage that this new 8Gig unit takes to run.
Think of it as a 4 cylinder verses an 8 cylinder engine. The 8 takes far more gas to run.

Jensen head unit VM9311TS no sound from CD

Should wire HU's Power Const to Amp's Remote On. Instead you wired HU's Power Antenna to Amp's Remote On. So the stock amp got triggered only in radio mode.
