Need Owners Manual/Assembly Instructions for WindChaser PHS Patio Heater

Ordered WindChaser PHS 40000 BTU Stainless Steel Patio Heater on line from Tuesday Morning, the product was delivered un-assembled. When I opened the box, there was NO Owners Manual/Instructions for assembly included. WindChaser, Inc. site has not responded to my request for this document, can you guys help me get a copy (hard copy or on-line access will work)?

Thanks

We were given an 87" stainless steel propane patio heater. Our deck ceiling is 96". Will that be enough clearance?

Had a look at the manual on a BFX750 patio heater and the distance required is 50cm above (18") and 60cm to the side (24"). If its the same type with around 13kw or 44,000BTU/h of power then this is the clearance is needed for air and heat.

How much does the hss-a-ss stainless steel patio heater cost?

There are many generic patio heaters that use standard model codes, it can be very difficult to find who the supplier is. HSS or SS is a standard Chinese factory code, to find a price and supplier take a look locally or via the web and ask for Chinese patio heaters. Worth asking if they have a stainless steel burner, many just fit a chrome or tin plated burner, for more information found this very useful specialist patio heaters.

Heater won light but i take regulator off and back on it will light but as soon as i turn up flame goes out

Your regulator is faulty - my heater did the same. It would light ok on the low burner, when turned up would go out. Changed the reg. and all fixed.

Windchaser patio heater

You have to hold the button down for 30 seconds at least before turning the knob to ON. If you are doing this and it still goes out after you let up on the knob, then it needs a new flame sensor, or thermocouple. Same thing different names.
