I have Mitsubishi TV Model# VS-50111. The picture is fit to the TV screen and looks nice, then the picture expands way beyond the size of the TV screen for a few seconds and the picture retracts back to a size that fits the TV's screen size and looks nice and crisp. Then after 30 seconds to 2 minutes, the TV automatically shuts off by itself.
I am connected only to digital cable internet...no other devices. This problem just started, TV worked fine before and ever since I bought it until now. Please help and thank you in advance

You can try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV.
Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on
the TV and see if it works..
Nope, But your convergenjce chip is about to die. i would turn it off and leave it off and call a tech to rectify it before it takes out the whole board or all 3 as some capacitors are also overheating. Parts $100+Labour of about 1.5 hrs at this stage! later it will be $600
