I have Mitsubishi TV Model# VS-50111. The picture is fit to the TV screen and looks nice, then the picture expands way beyond the size of the TV screen for a few seconds and the picture retracts back to a size that fits the TV's screen size and looks nice and crisp. Then after 30 seconds to 2 minutes, the TV automatically shuts off by itself. I am connected only to digital cable internet...no other devices. This problem just started, TV worked fine before and ever since I bought it until now. Please help and thank you in advance

Picture on the mitsubishi HD1080 VS-50111

Nope, But your convergenjce chip is about to die. i would turn it off and leave it off and call a tech to rectify it before it takes out the whole board or all 3 as some capacitors are also overheating. Parts $100+Labour of about 1.5 hrs at this stage! later it will be $600

This an old tv. From my experience i would replace it. It will be a money pit.Crts are beyond there life expectancey.

it is in your CRT socket board apply fresh solder or some areas of tv circuit board have cold solder.

Bugs in my tv

YES!
remove the top back panal screws (be carefull the mirror is connected to the panal! do not drop!) now wipe off and clean the three glass lenses inside..also wile your in there clean the inside of screen and the back panal mirror You will see a big improvment in picture!!
