Another thing when you taking a look see through the Night owl NV monocular there should be a green glow from the image intensifier tube, if not, then the NV monucular isn't working properly. stewbison

Hi, did you push the IR button? Read the operator manual about looking directly into bright lights and trying to see thing during the day time. This a NO, NO. It made for night vision. stewbison

Hello Here Night Owl Optics owner manual web site for your monocular: http://www.nightowloptics.com/documents/NexGenMonoMULTImanual.pdf
One more thing. DO NOT LOOK THROUGH NV
MONOCULAR DURING THE DAY, OR LOOK AT BRIGHT LIGHTS. This
will destroy the image intensifier tube. Bright lights will make it go south
faster than Speedy Roadrunner. I need parts if the image tube is gone. Night Owl
Optics in El Paso, TX will charge you about $200 plus parts and shipping to
repair it. So, listen no looky at bright lights in the neighbor bedroom window,

Yes, at Night
Owl Optics in El Paso, Texas. This is not a mandatory option. You can do it you
self. You can see the white wire in a slot just under the aluminum thread ring
for the battery cap.
Is this where the wire is broken at?
Need a small dental pick with 90 degree bend on the end/you can make one,
also some tweezers or small needle nose pliers. Use the hook to remove the
aluminum ring that is press into the plastic case.
Once, the ring is removed, reach in the Small slot with the tweezers and grab
the wire. Now, gentle and I mean gently pull on that white wire until you enough
wire to strip the teflon coating off.
Now, use the pick to cut a little small **** in side where the battery cap
ring goes. Now, put a very minute drip of glue in the wire ****. Push the wire
into the glue **** with the pick. Now, you can install the aluminum battery cap
ring. Gently push it down and let the glue dry. Your done...awesome, no.
