purchased nav cam 7000 last week on ebay. unit keeps tellig me to insert yhe sd card which is done and will not recognize it even when it is reinserted. also unit appears not to be able to aquire a sat signall is the hardware kafooed or the software..or whattt?? please help

I tried to copy the files off my CD to a new card and I get a message
on my Nav Cam, it's telling me to install a SD card with Navigator and Maps. The card does have them installed. Why is this happening? Can you email me?

It gives me road map to get where i need to go, but doesnt talk to me to tell me when to turn and when my street is coming up,, the map doesnt move at all, i don't have it on mute

hi mate the nav-cam 7000 and the 7500 are the same, i have the 7500 all
of the data on the disc applies for the 7000 & the 7500 as far as
camera updtes this is now in the process with the company that has
taken over evesham, anyway you have to install active sync and use the
cable to install the info onto the sd card, give it time and you should
receive the sat signal unless it is stolen where then they can switch
them off. good luck
