I just got a PADVD330 shipped to me from a friend who wasn't using it anymore and they left a DVD in durring shipping. Now it won't come out. It plays the movie just fine, it just won't eject. When I push the eject button, the icon comes up on the screen but it doesen't sound like it's really trying to do anything. Also, I can't seem to get any audio- but one thing at a time.
Am I going to have to take the thing apart to get the movie out and even if I get it out does this kind of thing tend to keep happening? I'm feeling a little clueless right now. Please help.

Hi lexrelt, unfortunately .. the cd burners either work or do not work.
I am assuming you have the correct drivers installed for your model.
if under warrenty, I'd suggest to approach your vendor to replacement CD burner or have one shipped out.
The majority of the cd and/or dvd burners for laptops are hot swappable. if a replacement part is shipped to you .. then just push the eject clips underthe laptop to eject the cd burner hardware and replace it with a new one.
if it is a brand new unit you have to remove the shipping screws that are usually on top of the unit, if these havent been removed you cannot load or eject a disk. They put theses in to prevent damage to the unit. If it is an old unit, ensure there isnt alread a disk inside the device, or worse that a child or etc hasnt jammed anything inside it.
hello my friend! my dvd player did the same problem. and i solved this just with a screw driver:) if your dvd player s guaranty finished!! switch off the player and open the screws which r 2 on sides and 3 behind the dvd. open the cover and take off the two group of cables on the chipset which are on the mechanical part side! (mechanical side: dvd driver) than plug the cables again to their socket. its done! close all and go on ! i hope this will solve your problem as mine...
I have the same DVD player and it no longer works. The battery worked just fine a month ago when I used it last, but now the player won't power on. It appears to be a problem with the "on" switch.
Would you like to buy the battery for $10 plus cost of shipping from Georgia??
