NO POWER TO PIONEER HEAD UNIT

I HAVE NO POWER TO MY PIONEER DEH-P70BT HEAD UNIT. IT HAS BEEN WORKING FINE AND I HAD TO DISCONNECT IT TO CONNECT AN IPOD ADPATER. I COULD NOT GET THE IPOD ADAPTER WORKING SO I DECIDED TO RECONNECT THE HEAD UNIT AND LEAVE IT AT THAT. WHEN I WENT TO CONNECT THIS THERE WAS NO POWER TO THE UNIT AND I HAVE RECONNECTED IT EXACTLY THE SAME WAY AS IT WAS PREVIOUSLY WHEN IT WAS WORKING. I HAVE CHECKED THE FUSES BUT HAVENT CHECKED THE FUSE ON THE ACTUAL UNIT. COULD IT BE THIS OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE. IS IT POSSIBLE TO DAMAGE THE UNIT BEYOND REPAIR BY DISCONNECTING AND THEN CONNECTING WITHOUT DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY.ANY HELP WOULD BE GRATEFULLY RECEIVED.

Disconnecting the cables shouldnt have hurt it. Make sure you got the plugged back in ALL the way and try again. Post results here.

Pioneer Model: DEH-P8400BH, USB port goes inactive

It's possible that the head unit's USB port or the wireless phone charger is no longer functioning properly. You can try the following to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Disconnect the wireless phone charger and test the USB port by connecting a different device. If the other device doesn't charge, the USB port may be faulty.
  2. If the USB port is working, try a different wireless phone charger. If it still doesn't work, the issue could be with the wireless phone charger.
  3. Check the car's fuse box for a blown fuse related to the head unit.
  4. If all else fails, contact Pioneer or a professional car audio installer for further assistance.

try checking your connections on the back of your head unit. your audio cables might have come unplugged which could be causing your amp not to receive any sound

No sound w/ pioneer DEH-P3700MP

chrystler sometimes has an amplifier. the blue with a white stripe wire on the radio is for that. connect it to a black wire that was left over. ps it isn't on the wireharness on the radio. it is the one just laying inside the dash accomidating the other wires. it should turn on just fine.

All buttons work but no sound comes out

what you plobably did was short out on the motherboard\. when ever you hook up electronics you do it with the power disconnected.
