It's definitely a Nvidia Geforce 6100 chipset, and you can bet it's got an analogue among other manufacturers. It's just finding out who.

There are 371 Acer motherboards available on E-bay. They are listed by the desktop model name and not the numbers you are giving. I suggest checking E-bay and using the Desktop model name or checking the pictures until you find one that matches...good luck.

Hi i need to upgrade my old pc . i whant to buy a graphic card to play all the new games 2011 but i dont know what g card to buy. my motherboard it is :Mainboard >>> > Manufacturer :...

if you have a old PC then upgrading the graphics card alone will not get your computer up to date to play 2011 games, you might need to buy a whole new 2011 computer. Go online and do a system requirement test of the game you are willing to download or buy and play.

NO SPECIFICATIONS AT ALL (Acer EM61SM/EM61PM)

I would recommend that you do in fact purchase a new motherboard, it is the heart of your computer and salvaging it from a prebuilt will not work out well for you, usually there is a restriction in the bios only allowing certain hardware to work with it.

As for the size, if you go with a decent case that is specified as ATX, it will work for this motherboard, it may be a micro ATX motherboard but an ATX case from someone such as Lian Li will work for both.

If you want some advice on a good computer build give us a price range, what you are trying to do on the computer, and whether or not you need a monitor, keyboard, or any other periphials.

You can also check out sites like hardforum.com or tomshardware.com they both have very active forums that have specific topics where people can post these requests to get advice from a bunch of different people.

Need to disable onboard video to allow vga board to work.

You should be able to disable the onboard video in bios.

Boot up the computer, and you should be able to press {Del} and the computer should load the bios setup program. My Acer is currently out for repair, but I believe the main menu will say something like "integrated peripherals," and from the submenu you should be able to disable the onboard video.

Thank you for your question, and please let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
