Even when my reception is at the highest and 3g is shown I can't get the browser to load the pages. I would type in the url but the screen just remains white. I turned off the phone and waited a few then turned it back on, then it would be able to load sites. But shortly after it fails again.
I did this already (cleared cache and deleted cookies) but its still a blank..however can still use Google search widget...what gives? One caveat: it said there was a problem with previous sites security certificate..phone was in sleep state. When I picked up
Just like a computer browser, whenever you browse the internet, the G1 will download images, text, passwords, etc from all sites accessed. it places this info in a place called a 'Cache'....it can get so full it will prevent pages from loading. to fix this, clear your cache. there are 2 ways to do this.....
1: MENU > SETTINGS > APPLICATIONS > MANAGE APPLICATIONS > BROWSER > CLEAR DATA
2: BROWSER > MENU > MORE > SETTINGS > SELECT CLEAR CACHE, CLEAR HISTORY, CLEAR ALL COOKIE DATA, CLEAR PASSWORDS
after doing that, turn off and on the handheld and try it again. if you keep up on doing this everytime youre done browsing the web, it wont happen again.
good luck :)

I also get this white screen. It appears the page is loading, but once the page loads to the phone it doesnt display. If I turn the phone off and restart it, the browser will work again temporarily, maybe for two or three pages then the same thing happens.
i have same exact problem.
mine does this too but i think it might be the network after 30 mins my internet will work again
same thing here and also when im in the android market i ger a server issue
Is the problem happening on 3G network or Edge network?
