If you are talking about registry errors, go to download.com type registry cleaner, you will presented with a list of choices, there are paid software as well as free ones.

Unfortunately there is no way to make that game run on your mac. Your mac uses the older powerPC architecture (all G3, G4 and G5 macintosh machines use this architecture) but the game requires that you have a mac using the newer intel architecture.

Intel and PowerPC processors are very different in how they work (Intel chips are CISC chips and powerPC chips are RISC chips), which is why there is no way around it. This is also the reason why apple dropped support for the powerPC architecture in mac OS 10.6 upwards.
Without meaning to sound harsh, it may be time to consider an upgrade - macs are very expensive but the intel macbooks are leaps and bounds faster than the powerPC range :)
What your windows problems are---is broken window regulators
Most people say their off the track That isn't true,the regulator pushes & pulls the window up & down & either a plastic piece or a cable assy breaks,depending on your type
You have to go to a dealer in most case,for the parts & the prices
A company called Dorman also make some replacement parts They can be found on the internet
You have to remove the inside door panel to examine your issues & there are no instructions,even in factory service manuals
You can try YOU TUBE,they have some video on most all car problems
Not a fun job at all & the pros don't even like that kind of work.
Once the door panel is off,you need long sleeves & thin gloves, if you can even use them. You will get cut up inside a door. No way to avoid the share edges.
You won't have the expensive pop riviet tool, if drilling out rivets is needed. You can use small bolts
You will have to test the motors & if good, swap to new regulators
Your best in my opinion, to do this job yourself, if you want it done once & done correctly

The F28 Error Code could Just be a Fluke But it is supposed to mean that there is no water entering so to be sure before running another load be sure hoses are connected and turned on.

install the game and when it gets to the install on C:\nancy drew click browse and choose program files then install there the game will then run but requires the cd to be in the drive
